Gonen Commodity Exchange began operations in June 2002. It was established with the approval of Ministry of Industry and Trade 29.04.2002 date and 2002/37 numbered.

Despite being one of the most recent commodity exchange established in our country it has increased the volume of transactions each year and has risen to 44th place among 113 commodity exchanges.

At Gonen Commodity Exchange wheat and rice analysis are performed in order to meet the needs of our members who are engaged in grain trading.

Gonen Commodity Exchange has got livestock market facility on Doctor Hüseyin Duman Street in Gönen. The facility includes 800 square meters for Administrative Building and 6,500 square meters of indoor sheep and cattle paddock. The facility is 26,000 square meters in total.It has got cafes, restaurants, offices for members, disinfection tunnel, sheep and cattle scales, a large parking area closed areas and animal shelter. It is one of the most modern Livestock Market facility in the country.  It provides a major contribution to producers and the economy of our region.

In order to increase the economic contribution to our region, Gonen Commodity Exchange purchased 22000 square meters of land and planning to build service building, scales, warehouses and offices for its members.
